A truly patriarchal beard next demands our notice, it is the Mosaic Horn. This is developed by the encouragement of whiskers and moustache, blending them together in one long roll, pointed at the end, and communicating rigidity by means of gum and bando-line: the chin must be closely cut or shaven. This is a very pious beard.
